Crafts Museum
- Village Complex
Designed by the well –known architect Ram Sharma and Sculptor Sankho Chaudhuri for the Asia Trade Fair in 1972, the Village Complex was later incorporated into the Crafts Museum when it moved to its present site. It comprises 15 structures- village dwellings, courtyards, shrines- from different parts of India, built in facsimile with skills and materials of the respective regions.

- Library
The Crafts Museum Reference Library has around 10,000 volumes in the area of Arts and Crafts, including many classics and rare books, and is open to the public. Books are available for reference on site and may not leave the premises.
The Library is open Monday through Saturday from 10am-5pm. The Library is closed on Sundays, the second Saturday of each month, and national holidays.
- Audio Visual Room
The Audio-Visual Room at the Crafts Museum is a small indoor theatre (capacity 40), which has regular screenings of short films on Crafts.
The Crafts Museum has been building its film archive and has some excellent documentation of crafts in its collection.
The Museum periodically hosts film festivals, offering special viewing selections. Screenings of particular films can also be made on request.
The Audio-Visual Room is open from 10am-5pm daily except Mondays and national holidays.
- Conservation Laboratory
The Museum has a modest laboratory for the conservation and restoration of objects in the Museum Collection.
- Temporary Exhibitions and Performance Spaces
Apart from the permanent galleries, there are two temporary galleries in the Museum, where temporary exhibitions are also held from time to time. Crafts Museum has four open theatres. Which can be used for the cultural performances and association collaboration events.
Saranga Amphitheatre – Saranga Amphitheatre is an open area theatre that has a capacity around 500 people.
Kadambari Theatre – This theatre has a capacity around 400 people.
Angan Manch – Angan Manch is situated in the village complex area and it has a capacity around 100 people.
Pilkhan Manch – This theatre has a capacity around 70 persons.
Publications
The Crafts Museum publishes catalogues relating to special exhibitions and some of the reports submitted in its Research and Documentation Programme. Details and past publications are available in the Reference Library.
